Event Description:
An family friendly event to celebrate Ojibwe culture and their horses, Lac La Croix pony. Event features a reading from the children's book "Runs with the Stars" written by Darcy Whitecrow and opportunity to meet 2 live ponies as part of the event. Reading will be by Em Loerzel, of The Humble Horse, a sanctuary for the ponies in Pierce County (near Spring Valley) Copies of "Runs with the Stars" will be given away. This event is hosted in celebration and recognition of Indigenous People's Day.
Location:
The River Falls Library (main level) and outside.
